Daily Practice
Like most skills Psychic abilities are like a muscle - the more you exercise them the stronger they become. So getting into daily practice will speed up your development. The ideal time is first thing in the morning. Some spiritual or psychic practice in the morning can you set you up for the day. Here are a few tips to get you started.
 
Grounding
 
You should ground before you do any spiritual or psychic work. If you make this a daily practice it will certainly help. 
 
Sit or lay comfortably
Close your eyes
Breathe in slowly and deeply through your nose
Breathe out slowly and deeply through your mouth
Imagine long, thick cords coming out through your feet and going deep into the earth
Picture those cords wrapping around a giant piece of clear quartz
The quartz allows energy to flow up through your feet and it surrounds ad fills your body
Let the energy flow over you and through you
When you are ready slowly bring your awareness back into your body
When you are back in your body wiggle your fingers and toes
Slowly open your eyes
After a couple of minutes slowly stand up
 
Affirmations
 
Affirmations are statements of what you want in life. However, you state them as though you alreayd have what you wish. Here are a few examples:
 
I am financially secure
I am a successful (insert profession here)
Luck flows easily to me
Endless opportunities come my way
I am respected and loved
 
Choose whatever you wish. Make it positive - what you DO want not what you do want. Say your affirmations every morning. A great way to start the day.
 
Meditation
 
Sit or lay comfortably
Close your eyes
Breathe in slowly and deeply through your nose
Breathe out slowly and deeply through your mouth

Picture walking to a lace you would feel peaceful - a forest, a beach, a garden
Take a seat
Ask your guardian angel or a loved one who has passed to meet you
When they arrive they sit down
Start talking to them. Ask questions. Or just talk
Ask if they have a message for you
When you are ready they get up and walk away
Picture yourself getting up and walking back to your room 
When you are ready slowly bring your awareness back into your body
When you are back in your body wiggle your fingers and toes
Slowly open your eyes

Energy cleanse
 
Sit or lay comfortably
Close your eyes
Picture golden drops of light falling all over your body and head
These are golden drops of light to cleanse your energy. They are dispelling negative energy and bring good, healthy energy
This cleanse revitalises you
 
Do this every morning first thing.

Why not start the day by watching a motivational video
Or listen to a motivational talk
Or a motivational song
Or read a motivational piece of writing
Or read a motivational poem
 
If you are feeling inspirational why not write your own piece ht you read every morning. Write a piece that will inspire you, that will excite you, that will make you seize each day
 
Draw a Card
 
If you have a deck of Tarot, Angel or other cards you can draw a card each day. Start off drawing a card and not trying to predict it. Just see how your day pans out. At the end of the day review your day and how it related to your day. Once you are more comfortable then when you draw the card you will know what your day will bring. Making it a daily practice will enhance your abilities.
