Postivity Jar

Postivity Jar

If we can connect to positive, happy thoughts and processes we can feel happier in our lives. There are a great many techniques we can use. These are powerful, yet simple options for you to try. Not all techniques suit everyone. So find what works for you.

Gratitude Jar

We are approaching the New Year but you can start any time you wish. Find a good sized jar. A jar that held the nuts at Christmas would be a good size.

At the beginning of every day pick one thing you are grateful for. It could be someone in your life, an exciting event, an opportunity, a thought that comes to mind, a compliment someone paid you or whatever you choose.

Write down that one thing you are grateful for on a piece of paper.

You can choose to date the paper if you wish.

Place it in your jar.

At the end of the year you will have over 360 pieces of paper with things you are grateful for. You can reminisce over your past year by reading each one or picking a handful.

Achievement Jar

At the end of every day pick one thing you achieved that day. It could be how you helped someone, how you stuck to your diet, or whatever you choose.

With each of these options they should motivate you and help you see positivity. If you need a pick me up, a boost, a gee up then dive into your jar and read what you have placed in so far. Place them back in the jar and carry on for the rest of the year.
